CollectFolio Get Early Access

We got tired of the spreadsheet.

CollectFolio started the way a lot of useful tools start: someone had a problem they could not solve with what existed.

The founders collect across categories. Pokemon cards and a Submariner. Sealed LEGO and a small but embarrassing vinyl habit. The math for each category was different, the data sources were different, and the trackers that existed were vertical-specific storefronts masquerading as tools.

TCGPlayer is great for selling cards. WatchCharts is great for tracking references. Discogs is unbeatable for cataloging vinyl. None of them answer the question that actually matters to a multi-category collector: what is everything I own worth right now, in one place?

So we are building it.

What we believe

These are the principles that shape every feature decision. If you ever see us violate one, tell us.

Median sold, not asking

Your collection is worth what buyers actually pay — not what sellers hope. Every valuation comes from aggregated recent sold listings across primary marketplaces. We never use optimistic asking prices.

Methodology disclosed

Every report tells you exactly how a value was derived: which source, which sold window, which aggregation. Insurance companies, accountants, and your own due diligence all benefit from the transparency.

No fake social proof

We are pre-launch. We will never show "Trusted by 10,000 collectors" until we actually have 10,000 collectors. Until then: this is what we are building, and you can shape it.

Collector-grade by default

PSA 10 vs PSA 9. First press vs reissue. Sealed vs open. Box and papers vs watch only. We track the distinctions collectors actually care about — not generic product categories.

Your data stays yours

No selling aggregate data, no training models on your collection, no public-by-default profiles. Privacy is the default. Export to CSV anytime.

Pricing that makes sense

Free tier is useful for real (10 items, manual entry). Pro is fair for what it does. Portfolio is honest about being for families and shared collections. No "contact us for pricing".

Where we are

Q1–Q2 2026

Demand validation (now)

Landing pages up. Search traffic being measured. Validating that the categories and keywords we picked are actually searched for. This site is the test.

Q3 2026

Closed beta

First 500 waitlist users. Pokemon tracking ships first (the category with the strongest existing data sources). Then LEGO, watches, vinyl in sequence.

Q4 2026

Public launch

Free, Pro, and Portfolio tiers open. All four categories. Insurance reports. Mobile-responsive.

2027+

Expansion

Sneakers, coins, comics, sports cards, watches beyond luxury. Native iOS / Android. API for power users.

Who is building this

A small team of collectors and engineers who got tired of building the same spreadsheet over and over. We are funded by users — revenue from Pro subscriptions funds development. No VC, no growth-at-all-costs.

We are based remotely across North America and Europe.

Shape what we build

Beta users get locked-in pricing, early access, and a direct line to the team building the features they asked for.
